The hospital 2 was based in 1946. Medical institute became a basis for it. The hospital 2 is unique medical organization, in a city and in  a region, where daily and round the clock appears medical help. More than one thousand experts work in a hospital.There are  330  places  in it.

The treatment is provided by nine  stationary  branches.  The service of the adult population is provided  by  two  polyclinics which have four branches and eleven items of a  health.

The quantity of the adult population which hospital servs is more then 110 thousands people.  The hospital is base for four faculties of medical university. Here the future doctors pass  the  preparation. More  than  twelve thousand person annually pass a rate of treatment  in  connection with traumas. Every year  is  carried  out  almost  1,5  thousands operations. Three traumas branch exist in a hospital.

The doctors engage in such tasks as: updating of function traumed extremitiespreservation of the social status ill. The hospital constantly carries out the search of new methods of treatment. More then two thousands operations of all profiles  are  conducted here  every year.Modern techniques are widely applied in surgical branch. The operative  interferences  are  made  under  the anasteziologic maintenance of branch of the reanimation and anasteziology.

The specialists  of  this  branch  possess  all modern  methods   of treatment. Thanking  application  of  a  new apparatus   for ventilation of the lung with heating air and oxygen, the  quantity of complications at ill has considerably  decreased.

Hospital has good material base for treatment and  rehabilitation  of the patients of different profiles.There are convenient furniture and variety  of  flouers  in  the halls of hospital.

Different methods of treatment are used also in terapeutist  branch. Hospital is equipped by modern diagnostic equipment. The branch of endoscopic diagnosis carries out more then two thousands examinations of patients every year. Only theree doctors work in it. Using the device  "olimpus"  permits  precisely  to determine  the diagnosis and to  execute complex  operating interferences.  Laboratory of diagnostics servs all branches of hospital 2.

More than 70 kinds  of  experience  is  carried  out  by  skilled spesialist. Different methods of observation  are  used  at  the laborotory.

Curative process entirely answers modern requirements, includes rehabilitations  and phisioterapeutists methods.
