Vinnytsa association “Sociotherapy”
was created in march of the year 1980.
The buildings are situated not far from the district
regional mental hospital ¹ 1 named by academician Yuschenko. The
association is a state medical institution, which studies the prophylaxis
and the treatment of alcoholic and drug addiction.
The cheaf doctor of the association is Slobodyanyuck
Pavlo M.
The association includes four narcological departments:
for the compulsory treatment, the department with a ward of the urgent
therapy in narcology, and wo last ones are to treat noncomplicated forms
of alcoholic and drug addiction. Besides, the association studies the questions
of the initial and second prevented measures of alcoholic and drug addiction.
For that purpose exists a dispansulfuric branch. Among all the problem,
facing the association the most quiping one is the problem of financing.
Coming from foregoing, the workmen of the association
are interested in more efficient and inexpensive treatment of alcoholic
and drug addiction, including the intensive aspect, which would allow to
raise the quality of the medical process and reduce the time of treatment.
Our workmen show a particular interest to non drug therapy
methods. Our association has its own experience in decidind given problems,
in the treatment of the critical conditions, connected with using of the
phsychoactive drugs. So we would like to find the persons of like mind
for the exchange by the available experience.
