Vinnytsya Regional Center for  Rehabilitation of Special Children ( The Center for Medico-Social rehabilitation of Children-Invalids  Suffering from Injury  of Central Nervous and Musculoskeletal Systems and Physically Handicapped) .
Center for Rehabilitation was registered 10.09.97.
The main goal is  satisfaction of the people, society and state's needs for full-fledged integration into the modern society of children- invalids suffering from Cerebral Palsy (CP) and other diseases, connected with  injury of nervous system, lokomotor system, cardiovascular system and physically handicapped.
The main  task is to make the conditions for operation of the united system of
medical, social and labor rehabilitation, phycho- pedagogical correction and educational process, subordinated to the main purpose of the Center
 - full-fledged integration of ”special children” into the modern society.
There are 4712 children-invalids in Vinnytsya oblast, among them 1352 children with central nervous system injury and 928 children suffering from CP.

Vinnytsya Urban Organization of the Disabled from Childhood and Their Parents “Blagovist”.
The organization was registered 25.06.1998.
           The main purpose of the organization: joining the interests of invalids from childhood ("special children"), sufferring from cerebral palsy (CP) and their parents with interests of the modern society.
           Problems of the organization:
           -protection of rights, liberties and interests of  "special children" and members of their families;
           -making the conditions for undertaking medical rehabilitation, pchycho- pedagogical correction and educational process  of "special children";
           -adjusting cooperation with international charitable funds and organizations.
           Structure of the organization:

Vinnytsya Charity  Fund of Disabled Sportsmen  "Peremozhets".
 Charitable fund was registered 10.09.99
Primary task of fund "Peremozhets": assistance in development of charitable activity, establishment of humanizm and mercy, rendering  material, financial, organizational  and other charitable help to invalids- athletes living  in Vinnytsya oblast.
     Charitable fund activity is directed on the improvement of material position of invalids- athletes, preparation harmoniously  developped athletes of high qualification among invalids, granting of material, moral and legal support initiatives and beginnings for the invalids, promoting their social rehabilitation in the society.

Private enterprise "Atheletic Club of Invalids- Athletes "OLYMP".
Enterprise was registered 12 december 1998.
 The main  aim of the enterprise is : preparation harmoniously developped athletes of high qualification among invalids, ensuring a fortification their health and many-sided physical development. The reception of profit and creation of working places, within the framework of performing a program of labor and social rehabilitation of athletes- invalids, extensions of economic possibilities for using by them their own skills in practical activity.

Volunteer Service
 Nowadays the Center has no possibility to render real help to the disabled  children by its own forces. Only  organization and creation a volunteer service, and the is Center presently doing this, allows  to settle problems of social, medico-pedagogical and  psychological rehabilitation of children- invalids positively.

Scientific activity
 The Center co-operates with Vinnytsya State Medical University by M. Pirogov, Department of social and medical organization and health protection . Candidate of Science in Medicine M.B. Tarasyuk conducts research on the subject: "Medico-Social and Psychological Aspects of Children's Disability  and Their Rehabilitations".

Center's  needs

To whom it may concern

    With burning pain in our souls we , the stuff of  Vinnytsya Regional Center for Medico- Social  Rehabilitation and Development of  Disabled  Children  Suffering from Children's Cerebral Palsy, and the disillusioned parents of such children address to you.
 There are 4712 children-invalids in Vinnytsya oblast, among them 1352  children with  central nervous system injury and 928 children  suffering from cerebral palsy . For cooperation in medical, pedagogical and social rehabilitation of such children there was created the Regional Center for Rehabilitation Disabled  Children in Vinnytsya 10.09.1997 the main goal of which is the full-blooded integration of the disabled  children into modern society. The Center was given a building of a former kinder- garten which had been built in 1968 and now is in a deplorable condition and needs capital reconstruction and equipping with special medical equipment. This work requires heavy expenses. But the money we have is not enough  for this. And we are loking for the sponsors which can help us in strained circumstances.  For the Center’s full- blooded work it needs technical equipment for the disabled, medical equipment, medicines, stationary washing machines, refrigerating machinery, kitchen machinery (counting 150 persons), office technical equipment, clothes, food products, sport equipment.
 Our Center works in close cooperation with Vinnytsya Charity Fund of  Disabled Sportsmen "Peremozhets" and a  Sports Club for  Disabled Sportsmen "Olymp". The total number of the disabled in Vinnytsya Region is 25850 persons, among them 1940 persons of disabled sportsmen. To support these sportsmen morally, financinally and organizationally, to provide them with necessary medical and social reabilitation, to create or to support sports teams in the town, regional and state scale- this is the main aim of the Fund’s activities.
