The
regional mental hospital N 2 (Vinnitsa,
Ukraine) was constructed in 1989. Now it is the modern and large scientific,
medical-preventive establishment. A lot of the credit must go to the staff of
hospital. National conferences on psychiatry and narcology with international
participation on the basis of establishment will be carried out. The employees
of hospital will pursued researches with using a clinical material in
psychiatry, research health sciences, biomedical informatics. Two dissertations
of work and 40 publications are published. The regional mental hospital N2 is
foundation of Ukrainian research institute social and judicial psychiatry in the
field of scientific researches. |

The clinic has a major achievement in the field of
researches on biomedical computer science. So, mathematical methods of computer
diagnostics and forecasting are developed. They represent well-established and
non traditional models. With their help researches of optimum acceptance of the
medical decision will be carried out at any diseases or pathological conditions.
Set of developed mathematical models were applied in the field of psychiatry,
narcology, immunology, children's infection of illnesses, phthysiology, ect.

Researches in area monitoring of systems are
conducted. There are a number of work, devoted to use of these systems in the
field of public health science. All of them are dedicated to study of laws of
receipt ill in the hospital.

At the moment the hospital has 610 beds and consists of 11
departments, polyclinic, department of medical informatics and computer support,
clinical laboratory, food - block, laundry and other divisions. The list of the
employees consists of the approximately 50 doctors, more than 200 nurses and
laboratory assistant, about 250 hospital attendants and 130 person of the
attendants. The employees average age is about 30 years.

Today the hospital has seven computer complexes, more than hallf of which make IBM PC AT 486. In basic, the computer complexes are applied in accounts department and departments on economic planning. Practically all programs are projected and are maintained in tabulared processors on Windows 95 platforms. Connected among themselves complexes with the help of a network Windows 95 provide operative access and information interchange between departments. Polyclinical branch has a diagnostic computer complexes, which decipher electrocardiographics and reographics parameters of ill. |
