The organization
in its activity is guided by the Ukraine low “About Guaranteeing a sanitary
and epidemiological people safety”, which is based on the Ukrainian low
about health protection and the Ukrainian sanitary rules, and other sanitary
standards.
The Regional Sanitary
Inspection Service is an establishment of the first category of
regional submission level.
State sanitary supervision is making as
spot checks at the all region area. These spot cheeks can be planned or
extraordinary in dependence on sanitary conditions and citizens orders.
The Regional Sanitary Inspection Service has a full
set of structure specialized subdivisions:

Control department;

Emergency state department;
-
Organizing bureau;
-
Sanitary-hygienic department, including the following subdivisions:
- municipal subdivision (the municipal hygiene subdivision)

Radiological department;
-
Epidemiological department;
-
Department and laboratory of especially dangerous infections;
-
Disinfecting department;
-
Department of professional disinfacting;
-
Department of sanitary analysis and information science;
-
Centralized autoworkshop;
-
Accounts department.
The Regional Sanitary Inspection
Service has cooperation with state establishment and public organizations
which make deal in field of health protection, environment protection and
diseases prophylactic.
The establishment is a basis of private-state
sanitary service on Vinnitsa region area, and organizing-methodical and
consulting center for the regional sanitary service net (Vinnitsa City
Sanitary Inspection Service, which is an establishment of the first category,
13 District Sanitary Inspections of the first category, 14 District Sanitary
Inspections of the second category and Vinnitsa City Disinfecting Service).
The Regional Sanitary
Inspection Service prepares plans and realizes control of the all
above-mentioned regional sanitary establishments, selection of personnel.
In the line of duty Regional
Sanitary Inspection Service coordinates activity of the whole regional
sanitary service, makes pecuniary aid centralized providing of chemical
reagents, nutrient mediums and other preparations.
The main directions of this
activity are:

Supporting the state sanitary control;

Determination of the main points in prevention
measures;

Studying, assessment and forecast people
health in depending on environment conditions, definition the environment
factors, which can be dangerous for the man’s health;

Preparation of proposition for providing
with sanitary and epidemiological conditions of regional population, prevention
the particulary dangerous and quarantine infections diseases spreading;

Checking the liquidation of causes and
conditions for appearing and spreading infections and mass diseases, poisoning
and radioactive affection;
-
The state control of infections, professional
diseases and poisoning.
