State Service for ecological safety in Vinnitsa region
is a local organ of the state executive authority which is part of a system of state control organs of the Ministry for protection of the environment and nuclear safety of Ukraine.
The Service for ecological safety performs the function of management in the field of protection of the natural environment, rational use and augmentation of natural resources, provision of ecological safety in the territory of Vinnitsa region.
The basic structural subsections of State Service are the following services: inspection and governing; regional ecological inspection; departments of ecological monitoring at the borders.
The total number of regular employers is more than 140, from them are more than 100 state inspectors.
